A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do...
There's this park on the way to Garden City Westfield in Mount Gravatt and everytime on the drive home, she wants to visit. And swing on the swings, twirl around the stationary twirly thing. Brings to mind the lyrics that say no matter what the age, we're all little girls inside.

View from Celia's garage.
Far left is the house of the little white dog who's not allowed out. The story goes like this. On our first two visits, there was a little white dog, maybe a terrier of some sort that was in and out of the house doing his own doggy thing. And in the afternoons he'd sit and wait for his young humans to come home from school. But this time round the dog was nowhere to be seen. We thought he'd been stolen or run over. So one evening I plucked up the courage to ask the owner what had happened to him and she bellowed, "He's not allowed out!" Must have done something naughty that wee doggy. Its the prerogative of wee doggies to do naughty things :)

Pink trees are sublimely pretty!
I wanted to sit under that tree but there was already a family there and the little kids were playing with the pink flowers. The odd thing was when I tried to find the pink tree on Google Earth later I couldn't spot it anywhere. Satellite pic must have been taken in the wrong season.

Only indication its winter. The temperature was 31C!
I felt totally robbed of a winter. Flew off to Brisbane in August expecting at least a few chilly nights and mild days but no... what did we get? Several days in the high 20's and a couple in the low 30's. Bah humbug!
